The trap is the difference between False and Not Given: False means the passage contradicts the statement, Not Given means the passage simply never says. If you are arguing from what is likely rather than what is written, the answer is Not Given.
Marks are rarely lost evenly. Most people are steady across a paper and then drop four to six marks on one question type every single time. Drilling that type on its own — rather than sitting another whole test and losing the same marks again — is the fastest repair available to you.
